We've had a meaningful time this winter and spring! We started the year with our Annual Meeting, where we celebrated all that God did this last year through GPC. We installed this year's new elders and deacons. Then we journeyed through the Lenten season together with a meaningful Ash Wednesday service and beautiful Maundy Thursday service. This culminated in a vibrant Easter service. It was the first Easter service our congregation has had together (without any other churches) since before Covid. It was a sweet celebration, followed by an epic Easter egg hunt for the community. Shortly after Easter, we welcomed new, beloved members into our congregation. JPL's Jorge Vasquez facilitated a thoughtful conversation about climate change. Our 100-year anniversary of ministry on the corner of Harvard and Louise was in April, and we put on one of our biggest celebrations! We had a petting zoo, band, carnival games, cake walk, car wash, plaque ceremony with Glendale representatives, honored our longest-time members of GPC, and overall had a blast commemorating GPC's legacy in Glendale. We're excited to see what the next 100 years brings! Our college and young adult group had a memorable spring wine-tasting event, Cinco De Mayo style. It was one of our biggest wine tastings yet. Friendships were made and the love of Christ was shared. For Pentecost Sunday, we had the joy of hearing scripture read in five different languages. We threw a fun birthday party for Pat Duca, one of our oldest and longest members of GPC, who turned 100 in May! It's been a full and fun last few months!

We hope you join us for summer! Check out our events coming up!
