Seeking Sunday Preschool Coordinator
Description:
Duties would include weekly Sunday morning leadership in our preschool room from 10:15 AM-12:15 PM, plus one additional hour of preparation per week. This person would teach lessons, supervise adult and junior high volunteers, and connect with parents, under the direction of the Director of Children’s and Family Ministries.
We use the “First Look” curriculum developed by “Orange” (www.whatisorange.org)—a highly interactive, online curriculum. All the necessary lesson materials are prepared—it is a matter of selecting the activities you feel will work best each week and gathering the supplies needed for a brief lesson.
We are looking for a person over 21 years old with excellent interpersonal skills who leads an active Christian life in the reformed tradition. We require some previous experience (paid or as a volunteer) working with children ages 2 through Kindergarten in a Sunday School or school setting. CPR and Basic First Aid certificate desirable but not required. We will conduct a background check before hire.
Salary: $10/hr
Time Commitment: 2 hrs/every Sunday morning (10:15 AM -12:15 PM onsite) plus one hour per week for lesson preparation.
