Vacation Bible School - June 24-28

Yes, it’s time to mark your calendars for one of our favorite events of the year!  “Kingdom Rock” Vacation Bible School is open for registration for kids ages 4 years old through entering 2nd grade in Fall 2013.  (Kids in (3rd-6th grade get to serve as Big Buddies!)  $40/child for the week.  (Scholarships are available, so don’t let cost prevent your participation.)

10:30 am Children's Program - Trek 412

Children's Ministry has a new 10:30 am program - Trek 412 (from 1 Timothy 4:12) for grades 1-6. The Sunday program is designed by the students on the High School leadership team under the guidance of Lynda McPherson. Every week will be a fun and educational Bible experience. Trek 412 has a great month of bible-learning fun planned for kids in 1st through 6th grades during the 10:30 worship service.

During the month of May Trekkers will be learning about Patience—waiting until later for what you want now.  Is this a challenge for you?!  Come find out what God has to say to us about this as we explore patience through games, crafts, and cooking in the month of May.  (Hint—homemade ice cream will be happening one of those Sundays!!)  We welcome kids and parents who are visiting church just for a Sunday and who those are looking for a church family—come check us out!  A PowerPoint slide will let kids know they are dismissed from worship to sign in and meet our staff at the Trek 412 table outside the sanctuary.

Job Opportunity

Glendale Presbyterian Church
Seeking Sunday Preschool Coordinator

Description: Duties would include weekly Sunday morning leadership in our preschool room from 10:15 AM-12:15 PM, plus one additional hour of preparation per week.  This person would teach lessons, supervise adult and junior high volunteers, and connect with parents, under the direction of the Director of Children’s and Family Ministries.
